Maintaining your SHRM certification requires more than earning credits—it requires understanding how the recertification process works and how to document your activities correctly. This one-hour webinar provides a clear, practical walkthrough of the SHRM recertification process, from understanding recertification requirements to confidently submitting credits in the SHRM portal.

Participants will learn what qualifies for Professional Development Credits (PDCs), how to earn credits across the different SHRM categories, and how to avoid common mistakes that delay or complicate recertification. The session will include a guided overview of entering activities, tracking progress, and preparing for submission so that recertification feels manageable and predictable rather than stressful.

This webinar is ideal for SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP credential holders at any point in their three-year recertification cycle, as well as HR leaders who support team development and credential maintenance.

Key Takeaways
  • Understand SHRM recertification requirements, timelines, and credit categories.
  • Learn what activities qualify for PDCs and how to plan credit accumulation.
  • Walk through how to enter and track credits in the SHRM recertification portal.
  • Avoid common errors that lead to rejected or delayed submissions.
  • Leave with a clear checklist and action plan for maintaining certification.
