Often used interchangeably, equity and equality, at their core have different meanings and impacts in the workplace and the community. While both have similar origins in providing fairness and evenness, there is a burden on those who try to implement either one. Join Kris on March 18th, for an interactive discussion, as she shares insights of the differences between equity and equality, while discussing how we continue to advocate for justice and access in the workplace.

Learning Objectives:
1. Define equality and inequality - reviewing common misconceptions.
2. Define equity and inequity - ensuring all participants have a common definition to work from.
3. Review types of common inequalities and inequities with an activity to drive home the impact of each in the workplace.
4. Examine the role that privilege and bias plays in the conversations around equity and equality.
